Connection Privée, our podcast and IGTV series, is always a wonderful excuse for us to catch up with, and learn more from, industry experts. It’s always therefore that extra bit special when we can welcome one of our very own clients as a guest. Last week, Eleanor our Junior Account Manager, was delighted to host Iain Allan, Glen Moray Whisky‘s Global Brand Ambassador and Visitor Centre Manager, to join her on Instagram Live, for a discussion on Scotland’s favourite spirit.

Eleanor and Iain both come from Speyside, the same area of Scotland where Glen Moray is made, so waxed lyrical about the beautiful world of Elgin, that will hopefully be open to visitors again soon, as well as their life-long passions for whisky. Iain also introduced us to his newest venture; a series of interviews with figures in the drinks world, set to take place over the coming months, named rather aptly, ‘Glen Moray Mondays’. A chance to introduce the spirit to those who perhaps are new to whisky, as well as a way to explain its nuances, and the background and creativity that has gone into Glen Moray’s various liquids, Iain will be tasting Glen Moray’s offerings on IGTV with some truly exciting guests, and we cannot wait to watch.
The first of these took place on Monday the 12th April, with none other than food writer, broadcaster and all-round drinks aficionado, Andy Clarke – and you can catch up here, if you missed it.

Since Andy has spent his professional life learning and tasting the drinks world’s top offerings, he was able to give great insight into his journey with Glen Moray, and why it has always stood out to him. Iain and Andy took things to the next level, trying the new make spirit, before discussing the various casks used in maturing that Glen Moray has proudly created and pioneered over the years.
We’re looking forward to the next Glen Moray Monday, on 3rd May. Slàinte Mhath!
