New client: VIDA Wines & Spirits launch in the UK

VIDA Wines & Spirits is thrilled to announce the launch of its third branch in the UK following on teams in Sofia & Vienna. VIDA seeks to champion Central and Eastern European wines & spirits in an authentic and innovative light available to consumers via the VIDA website with UK delivery, but also to businesses through its on the ground sale managers.

VIDA takes its name from the Baba Vida medieval fortress in Northern Bulgaria, a nod to the brand’s focus on Central and Eastern European wines and spirits which are now available to purchase online in the UK. The brand was founded by the Cholakov family with a passion for Austrian, Central and Eastern European wines.

Tzvetan Neychev (Global CEO) states on the UK launch of VIDA:

It is a very exciting time for us. We are looking forward to introducing new wines & spirits to the UK consumer through VIDA especially highlighting the quality of particularly Central & Eastern European wines which are otherwise harder to get hold of in the United Kingdom.”

Whilst wines & spirits dominate a large part of VIDA’s products, it also carries a vast assortment of pantry foods and accessories from over 15 countries. The varying VIDA portfolio is thus composed of over 1500 diverse styles and price points forming the ultimate shopping experience. VIDA is therefore looking forward to introducing 30 new-to-the-UK producers and 200 exclusive products to UK consumers and businesses.

In addition to showcasing a range of producers throughout Central and Eastern Europe, VIDA also makes its own wines named ‘VIDA exclusives’. The vineyard is located near the village of Gradets in Northwest Bulgaria, close to the fortress of Baba Vida which inspired the VIDA name. The region has a long and successful winemaking history boasting some of the best producers in the country thanks to ideal growing conditions and a unique microclimate. In the vineyard, VIDA stays true to its environmentally conscious mindset, practicing an environmentally friendly, low intervention approach avoiding pesticides and herbicides.
