GEMMA ARTERTON PICKS UP COINTREAU THEATRE ACTRESS AWARD AT GLAMOUR WOMEN OF THE YEAR 2016 AWARDS!

Wednesday 8th June 2016, London – Cointreau celebrated with a Cointreau GLAMOUR Fizz Cocktail, as the stunning Gemma Arterton was awarded with the Cointreau Theatre Actress Award at the 13th annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2016 in Central London. For the second year running, Cointreau was a category Sponsor and the official spirit sponsor, at the prestigious awards that British GLAMOUR magazine hosts.


After a prestigious award ceremony with captivating speeches, celebrities such as the glamorous Lilah Parsons and Alya Mooro, Camille Charriere, Lucy Williams took to the after-party dance floor to party the night away in style. As they snapped selfies, they enjoyed an array of Cointreau Fizz cocktails that were on offer at the dazzling Cointreau bar, including the Cointreau Fizz Classic and Cointreau Fizz Strawberry and Mint. Cointreau also unveiled the Cointreau GLAMOUR Fizz, created especially by the Be At One’s bartender Colette Abel in celebration of the GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards, which proved to be a great hit by the A-listers.



At the end of the night, guests were gifted with a Cointreau cocktail maker kit, to make their own Cointreau Fizz cocktails at home. The winners of the esteemed awards, including the Cointreau Theatre Actress Gemma Arterton were gifted with bespoke Cointreau bottles engraved with the name of their celebrated award title.

To make the Cointreau GLAMOUR Fizz at home in a few simple steps with easy-to- find ingredients, just add 50ml Cointreau, 2 wedges of grapefruit, 1 wedge of lime, 1 bar spoon of strong lemon sherbet. When the sherbet dissolves and infuses into the fruit, fill the glass with tonic water and add ice cubes.
