British actress and model, Gemma Chan and North American actor, film producer and singer, Jeremy Renner joined over 250 aficionados of 1724 Cognac producer, Rémy Martin, and members of the Cointreau Creative Crew, for the launch of their annual pop-up members’ club.

Spanning four characterful floors of Soho Victorian townhouse, 19 Greek Street, the organisers of La Maison Rémy Martin believe it ‘will challenge the conventions of a traditional members club, inviting members to attend a series of events hosted in The Lounge by London craftsmen and celebrities including master-classes by Jodie Kidd, and craftsmen including former rugby player Ollie Phillips.’
Connaught Bar mixologist, Agostino Perrone crafted smooth and sparkling, Cognac-pepped serves at the party alongside world canapés such as smoked eel baguette bites by Tom Parker Bowles, while, in a surprise move, Chan showed considerable musical talent when playing the violin. This adhered to the philosophy underpinning the club, ‘as it is the platform to an array of exciting lifestyle partners who will each reveal their hidden talents and passions.’
La Maison Rémy Martin is open until 27th November. As with last year’s chapter, the club’s membership is offered by invitation only – although 50 ‘civilians’ may compete for membership.
