‘Cointreau Creative Crew’, an international philanthropist programme to inspire the creativity of women and make their dreams come true launched at Hotel Café Royal this week.
The several hundreds strong crowd included fashion blogger, Prince Cassius, entrepreneur, Caprice Bourret and British burlesque dancer, Immodesty Blaize alongside Creative Crew Director, Laetitia Casta.
Laetitia Casta: ‘I was inspired to create the Cointreau Creative Crew in order to give the next generation of women an opportunity to have a platform for their creative passions. Working with a collective of creative names such as Eva Longoria, Kelly Hoppen and Jo Elvin, we have an unparalleled group of accomplished women who can share their own path to success and celebrate that very thing that allows them to dream, dare and create. Beginning our journey in London, a city that pulsates to the rhythm of creativity we have announced the first chapter of the Cointreau Creative Crew, a series of webisode interviews from inspiring females, beginning with Eva Longoria. From there, in the United Kingdom, we will welcome entries in to the Cointreau grant scheme where up and coming creatives have the chance to fund their future with a £20,000 bursary. Then finally we will be hosting an auction of bespoke items created by our celebrity contributors and announcing one lucky winner.’
The campaign represents a continuation of the work of women’s campaigner, Louisa Cointreau, the wife of founder, Edouard. It is intended to give guidance to the marketing strategy of Cointreau, whose roots in Angers date to 1849. It also sees Cointreau take the accolade of first spirit brand to be sold at department store, Liberty.
