Luxury PR agency Clementine Communications, in partnership with mental health charity Beder, will be walking 5km in support of mental health and suicide prevention. Beder’s mission is to remove the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide by encouraging conversations and providing free mental health resources, a campaign most famously seen with the launch of their latest cookbook last year.
According to a recent survey, 58% of employees in workplaces experience anxiety and 40% of employee turnover costs are due to mental health issues. Clementine Communications is passionate about correcting these figures on mental health, specifically in the workplace and has partnered with the non-profit on many occasions to do this. The company cares deeply about the wellbeing of its employees and strives to maintain a healthy work/life balance. Frequent, open conversations are available to staff, and they are encouraged to share their thoughts in a safe space. Clementine Communications believes that by nurturing and supporting its employees, both in their careers and with their mental health, they are building a positive and well-rounded working environment, and showcasing PR professionals who are passionate about their work and their life.
As Mental Health Awareness week approaches, Beder will be collaborating with digital therapy provider, Mindler, to provide free therapy to those that need it most. “By joining forces with Mindler, we can create greater accessibility to information, offer important opportunities for people to talk to expert therapists about their thoughts and feelings in addition to providing the ability for individuals to proactively manage their mental health”, says Razzak Mirjan, Founder of Beder. The collaboration will see participants meet with a psychologist via video calls and/or complete iCBT exercises in the mobile app to provide support in looking after their mental health. There will be 250 vouchers available for either a year-long subscription to the therapy app or therapy sessions themselves. If you would like to apply for Beder Therapy Vouchers, refer someone you know, or simply find out more information then please visit Beder’s website.
Mental health is a cause very close to Clementine Communication’s heart and this year we will be supporting Beder in the efforts to raise awareness and funds. Clementine Communications will be running various campaigns over the week to support and raise funds for Beder. The goal is to raise £5000 in support and aid Beder on their mission to prevent suicide. “We are honoured to support organisations like Beder and Mindler this mental health awareness week. Mental health is so prevalent in our industry, and in our society, that we should be doing all that we can to raise awareness of these issues and create an open dialogue” says Clemence de Crecy, Managing Director at Clementine Communications.
Any donations, big or small, are invited to be made through the Just Giving page with all proceeds to go to Beder. You can also follow the team’s 5k walk and other campaigns through the Clementine Com Instagram account
