After months of anticipation, and a steadily growing list of incredible brand partners, EXCELLENCE by Vendôm, the world’s first virtual recruitment fair dedicated to the luxury industry, has begun!
It has been a fantastic first day, with the live talks including a conference on Fine Dining, compered by Kevin Chambenoit, the Founder of Grimod Consulting, with three top speakers:
- Dejan Popadic COO Azumi Ltd.
- Antoine Menard, COO Paris Society
- David Sinapian, President Grandes Tables du Monde
The theme was the Culinary World Of Tomorrow: Its Products, Its Values, Its Scope, and as a team that works closely with several top London restaurants, we couldn’t look away. Popadic, Menard and Sinapian each have vast experience in the hospitality industry, something that we at Clementine Com are hugely passionate about, so to hear more about their experience but also their predictions and advice for the future of the gastronomical world was a huge privilege.
Later on in the day, one of the true highlights of the entire fair was the first conference on Corporate Culture: our entire team tuned in for the talk, helmed by Cristina D’Agostino, Founder of the Luxury Tribune. The esteemed speakers were:

- François-Henry Bennahmias, CEO Audemars Piguet
- Mathieu Jaton, CEO Montreux Jazz Festival
The hour-long talk delved deep into how luxury brands and the types of people working in luxury have changed over the years, analysing what is needed to thrive in the industry. Mentorship, inclusivity, reinvention – nothing was off the table. It was a talk that laid bare the process of attracting talent, before touching on the eternal dichotomy of heritage and innovation; a fascinating point of discussion.
