Manchester Gin have announced plans to open a distillery in the heart of Manchester city centre. Based on Watson Street, the distillery will sit directly underneath Manchester Central, the city’s iconic conference venue. Set to open this summer, they have ambitions to renovate six of the grade II listed railway archways, bringing life to an area of the city that has long been forgotten.
The distillery will play host to a wealth of events and innovative gin experiences, including tutorials, talks, masterclasses and the opportunity to create your own bespoke gin to take home and enjoy. Customers will leave the venue having learnt everything that they need to know about Manchester Gin.
Plans for the distillery also include a bar and restaurant, where the extensive portfolio of Manchester Gin’s world-class cocktails will be served. Customers can sit back and enjoy a tipple seconds away from where it was produced in the stills. Staying true to the Manchester Gin philosophy, the bar and restaurant will champion produce from artisan, ethically sourced producers native to Manchester.
The launch of the new distillery will be an exciting next step for Manchester Gin as they continue to expand in the city they call home, and representing the very best of Manchester across the globe.
