Patron of the restaurant, Joël Robuchon, famed for holding the most Michelin stars in the world (25) co-hosted the event with owner of La Grande Maison and four Grands Crus classés, Bernard Magrez. Notable contemporaries included: Michel Guérard (Les Prés d’Eugénie – three stars), Nicolas Masse (La Grand’Vigne – two stars), Pedro Subijana (Akelare – three stars) and Martin Berasategui (seven stars).

Robuchon’s preened dishes were matched with wines from Bernard Magrez’s estates.
