March is a good month for our fabulous client, Cramele Recas, as they are launching a new Pinot Noir which is available now in the UK in Co-op. The perfect wine for lovers of fruity driven reds produced with minimal intervention, the Pinot Noir has the added benefit of being completely vegan.
Made with 100% estate grown grapes, the Romanian Pinot Noir has gorgeous fruity, almost fruit cake notes and a sumptuous syrup-like concentration. Dark, rich and potent, with layers of complex black cherry, raspberry and cinnamon, the wine has a strong body and a spicy aromatic finish.
Cramele Recas recently showcased their wines alongside a number of other Romanian winemakers at an exclusive event at The Travellers Club in London, attended by heavy-weights in the wine world such as Jancis Robinson. Not only producing wines from popular international grapes, Cramele Recas places a spotlight on the lesser-known indigenous varieties.
Other wines available in the UK include their Orange Natural Wine, available at ASDA, RRP £6.25. Not forgetting the wildly popular Sanziana range, available at Corney and Barrow, RRP £8.25. The Sanziana Pinot Grigio Rosé recently received a glowing review from the team at Good Housekeeping in their ‘Best Rosé to Buy Now’ feature.
