On Friday we had the opportunity to host our clients Philip and Elvira Cox from Cramele Recas. They were in town this week for London Wine Fair.
We decided to go all out with wine tasting and lunch at The Balcon restaurant at Sofitel London St James Hotel in Pall Mall. We had our friends Sam Wylie-Harris from the Press Association and the deputy editor of Director, the Institute of Directors magazine, join us for a superb 3 course meal accompanied by a range of wines selected for us personally by Philip.
Philip Cox and his wife Elvira are founding directors of Cramele Recas, the wine company they set up from their vineyards in Romania 16 years ago. We sampled 8 fresh wines, including a white that has made it onto Gordon Ramsay’s menu, a rosé and a dessert wine amongst some reds which perfectly complimented the duck.
Top class!
